Description: An early ghost photo by William Mumler. The subject is wealthy magazine editor Moses Dow, apparently with the spirit of his assistant Mabel Warren. Mumler produced a series of similar photos which gained him some notoriety. Although of historical interest, his photos are now considered to be fake.
